    Both compatible with any modern laptop. The pro is a higher end product, hence the higher price. In terms of performance, the evo is still a very good drive and usually a better choice in terms of value for someone just wanting an SSD rather than squeezing performance to the edge.

    120GB is not that much space for a laptop if you only have a single hard drive in there. I would be inclined to consider the Crucial M500 240GB which is very good value at the moment.

    Thanks, I hadn't considered the crucial. The reason I went for Samsung was because of the performance software it contained.
