Belling Dishwasher IDW 604 chipping all plates!

    Hi does anyone have a problem with this model chipping all plates large and small. It the second Belling Dishwasher that is doing this. Must have chipped the edge of 29 plates to date. Any suggestions to fix this please

    Are the rotors contacting the plates when the machine is working? You would have probably have heard this happening if it is.

    Alternatively, put plates in machine and spin the rotor. If it's hitting the plates then your plates are in the wrong place in the tray or not suitable for the machine you bought.

    I would expect the above to happen to large plates but it's odd that it's happening to big and small plates. Other possibility is that you are overloading the dishwasher.

    Are the plates marked as being dishwasher safe?
