Anyways im just wondering what is the best box out there to use?? Done a lot of research today online but haven't come across anything that recommends which box to use or what sort of a spec to look out for...

Could anyone here recommend anything to me?

For real "IPTV" get a UPC broadband subscription and Netflix.

Any TV that's free just over the internet (not part of an IPTV package) isn't true IPTV. A laptop / notebook with HDMI to TV set is most flexible solution.

A Roku box is quite good. "Apple TV" is no good unless you are prepared to pay Apple for content and have an Apple phone/tablet to control it. Chromecast is just really a wireless HDMI dongle. Needs tablet/Laptop/hiigh end Android etc as a host to actually connect to Internet for the content.

You need a 120G to 200G + cap to watch much video on Broadband.
