Moving to Canada, advised to get a UK license

    Hey guys,

    I am moving to Canada in a few months and was advised to get a UK license as it makes getting a Canadian one much easier.

    I live in Ireland at present. Is it possible to get a UK license while still in Ireland?

    The requirements are available at https://www.gov.uk/browse/driving/driving-licences

    Looks like you need to be a UK resident.
