Kia cerato problem

    well,
    we have an 05 kia cerato 1.6 petrol saloon model, recently the check engine light has come on and the car seems to stutter when the car is moving until its over 3000 revs anything below and its as if the car is being driven like you are pushing the accelerator down and up quickly like the car jerks a small bit until it hits 3000 revs then fine.

    i think it could be a misfire but the plugs were changed 10,000 km ago, any ideas or advice much appreciated lads

    Coil pack? Petrol ceeds go through them regularly enough.

    idles ok from inside the car must check with the bonnet up and make sure tommorow
