    2fm have live coverage of rugby again tomorrow afternoon from 3-6pm.

    I'm a rugby fan, but jaysus, they've no clue what they're doing.
    Rugby shouldn't be on the station. Any extended sports coverage shouldn't be.

    This country really could do with a proper national music station, between talk and sports shows it can get pretty tedious having to scan through the channels when in the car.
    Its not that I dislike sports or current affairs just it it be nice to have a station that plays music.

    I guess this is the consequence of RTE closing down the Medium Wave transmitters a few years ago.

    RTE radio and TV are absolutely obsessed with rugby. No surprise howver ridiculous this scheduling is to hear this.

    they probably have the gaa league finals over on radio 1 at the same time so 2fm is being used

    You raise an interesting point. What are they going to do with the GAA this summer? Is it on RTE Radio 1 or RTE Radio 2? The programming genius needs to make its mind up... Talk or music... music or talk..
