Hi, I just joined the forums just to reply on this one, I would very strongly not recommend Lapel, we just had a terribly unprofessional couple of meetings with them ref our wedding suits. They are terrible to deal with and considering they are very expensive for their 'bespoke suits', they do not do anything for the customer only insult and rush you through the selecting process. They are more concerned with telling you how fabulous they are and who they suited in the sports world. I would not darken their door for anything again or recommend them to anyone.
I have to say on this note Tom Murphy's on Patrick street can not do enough for you and give you all the time you need and are very thorough and reasonable.
    Happy shopping

That's accurate, I can see this now after using them, a decision I completely regret.

I got my suits from them in frankfield , have to say really disappointed with the overall experience .
The suits were great in the day however there were a few minor issues leading up to the wedding and in all honesty they were not prepared to help in anyway , they talk the talk but don't walk the walk , overall I wouldn't recommend them at all and you get better service in other suit hire in cork take my word for it AVOID .....

We used Lapel's suits for our wedding. Absolutely loved them. Great service, great quality. I used them on another occasion to get a formal suit for an event and it was absolutely smashing! The brand was Scribe.

The problem with boards or any other review site for that matter is the statistics.... Get great customer service, tell no one.
    Get poor service, tell everyone.

I'm sure the guys on here saying they received bad service have legit reasons for it, but I'm sure there are MANY MANY more who received great service and will use Lapel again.

Have to admit a very poor service.
Booked in for an appointment for our wedding suits (were initially kept waiting for 15 minutes) had to fill out an order form before we had looked at anything, told the guy who was dealing with us that I wanted to buy the suits for myself and 3 groomsmen but he had no more interest in taking my money. Got to try on two suits of no where near my size and was told there's not much point in trying on anything else, basically they were closing up for the day and this was 2.30 on a Saturday, he was in such a hurry putting away jackets he took no notice.

Really disappointing and couldn't recommend this place unfortunately.
