    Race 1 : 2:05 Sandown
    Race 2 : 2:20 Haydock
    Race 3 : 2:50 Ripon
    Race 4 : 3:25 Haydock
    Race 5 : 3:30 Ripon
    Race 6 : 3:50 Sandown

There was no winner of the Scoop6 last Saturday. This is great news for you as the Win fund will start off this Saturday with a massive £1,528,248 already in the pot and the Bonus fund starts at £1,533,528.

Both these totals will grow rapidly as more stakes are placed and we expect the Win fund to pass £2,100,000 and a single winner of the Win and Bonus Funds to scoop around £4 MILLION!

    I know I'll have a few lines :)

is the £10 free sign up offer on that page the best available for opening a totepool account? I presume this is the only way of entering the scoop 6?

It would need to be a £10mil rollover before I'd consider perming tomorrow's races.

I had that problem. I rang them up and they took my card details over the phone. Didn't need verifying then.

Just a few pointers for people not used to this bet and considering having a go.

It is a combination of a Jackpot bet (all must win) but also has a placepot ( all must place) and a "bonus" element where if you win the Jackpot part you get a free shot at nominating the winner of a specified race the following week end.

The cost per line is 2 pounds sterling and you can only do lines for that amount.

Only do the bet with a company that bet direct into the pools. There are a few online companies such as the Tote , Betfair , Bet365 that I know off, also I know you can do it in Ladbrokes shops.

Good luck to anyone trying for it.

If some bright spark is feeling lucky, they will be able to back all selections next week and have a good chance at making a profit.

What happens when five or six people do it?

Like the Lotto, the pot is split.

    Haha, I know that.

    Haha, I know that.

Francie, I think his point is that if more than one person does it then no one will make a profit

    Depends obviously.

If you had done all possible selections today you would have made money.

Struggling with my leaving cert level probability maths here, but I don't think you would have made a profit.

The probability is 1/11508224, so that's the total lines, at a cost of 23,016,448. So no, you wouldn't have made a profit.
