    Guys,

Have any of you ever shipped an engine? Any idea what I'd be looking at roughly? It's just a short distance within Ireland and it's already on a pallet.

Would a company like DPD do it?

    ta!!

Theses guys transport car parts, they might be able to help you.
{edit} cannot post URLs, go google deliver-it.ie

In general, once "something" is on a pallet, its just a pallet, no one cares whats on it.

Depends where it's too and from - make sure it's not leaking any fluids, wrap it up in cling film and tie it down to the pallet. Try dpd or the pallet network I would'nt pay any more than €90 for one pallet for a Joe Soaper

For a pallet containing a single engine, 50euros including vat will take it anywhere in the country on a next day basis, the only condition is that it is secured on a pallet and drained of all oils and fluids....
