    Hey all

Anyone know if this is cheaper to do in advance and where it can be done.
Also would love to hear info on getting from Bristol airport to Bristol itself.
I have googled but would like to hear first hand experience.

    Thanks

You can get Bristol Airport-Cardiff for around £30 off-peak on nationalrail.co.uk. This includes the bus from Bristol Airport to Bristol Temple Meads station. It's a fairly frequent and reliable bus

Another alternative worth considering is the Greyhound bus directly to Cardiff from Bristol Airport, via Bristol. I was going to post the URL of Greyhound UK but this website doesn't let me. :(

I am going to be staying in Bristol and then want to get from there to Cardiff.
What journey length is it from Bristol to Cardiff on the bus and train and which is better to get to the Milennium Stadium?

I did try harder, but I was informed "You cannot post with images, URLs or attachments because you are a new user."

No idea why, since I'm not such a new user. :(

    I can't post links either.

Google seat61.com for all your train travel information. The guy behind it named the site after his preferred Eurostar seat number.

If you just want to get from Bristol to Cardiff you have a choice between the train and at least 3 bus companies: Greyhound, National Express, and Megabus. Train is faster but probably more expensive. The stadium seems to be right next to the railway station (Cardiff Central).

You will have no problem finding the stadium in Cardiff its right in the middle of the town and cant be missed, so just get to Cardiff and you will find its easily enough. Trains in the UK are great (if expensive) so you wont find it difficult to get there

The local operator is www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk and you can buy the tickets online.

If you have a smartphone, install the 'National Rail' app, you'll recognise the old British Rail logo, that allows you to store favourite journeys so you can check departure times etc. When entering the railway stations, use 'BRI' for Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central is 'CDF'.

    Cheers folks
I downloaded that app and was able to buy tickets. I got a return ticket to Cardiff from Bristol for £24. I was also able to reserve a seat for no extra cost. The journey is under a hour.
Now I just need to sort out a bus from Bristol airport to Bristol Temple Meads.
