    Hi, I'm new here :)

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with <no names> in Ballsbridge?
I was considering the Groupon half price deal for 6 month braces and would love some
opinions :) Also, anybody have any experience with <no names> in Clondalkin?

    Thanks again

    K

We aren't allowed to name names on this forum I'm afraid.
    I'll leave it at that.

Not making a comment about any clinic mentioned"....

But it says a lot to me about any business offering these. Dundrum house hotel, ballykisteen and the anner hotels in Tipperary for example were all offering these and are now in receivership.

considering ortho treatment is bit different to booking an hotel? You'll get over a bad weekend in a sh1tty hotel. How long would it take to sort poor orthodontic treatment?

Oh sorry I wasn't sure if I could name the actual business names or not. Thank you for the reply both of you,
in that case, if anyone has any more details could they pm me?

    Hope that's ok!?

    Thank you again :)

I'm just wondering what is the average cost of the 6 month smiles?

6 month smiles or the other short term adult orthodontic treatment options are very restrictive in the case selection and they should be as they are designed to only treat the 6 front teeth of minor irregularities, if it is any more than a minor irregularity then one will need full orthodontics, so if one is borderline it might just take more than "6 months" i dare say

    But worth it?

I had to correct the front 4 bottom teeth so it wasn't a major operation. As I said I started on August 6th last year so 9 months in now. There's one of them still slightly out, which should be corrected at the next tightening.

Is it worth it, definitely. Most disappointing aspect is I didn't get this sorted sooner.

if they were rotated as well as unfavourable angulation then treatment period would normally increase

Does ''rotated'' mean they physically move them, or the braces move them over time?
This is making me want to watch videos on YouTube about it. :|

What about it taking 50% longer than anticipated and counting?

Over the course of my life time the extra 4 months in took will seem very insignificant
