    Saw the first of the St Mark's Flies in the garden today and out of curiosity, as they are supposed to appear on St Mark's Day, I thought I'd look up the date of the feast day to see how close they are. And guess what? St Mark's Day is 25th April!
    Spot on Mother Nature!

    I must watch for more of these date connections to nature.

    found a few St. George's mushroom (Calocybe gambosa) in the local park on April 23rd...St. George's day!
