    Hi,

I have an exam in Leisureland tomorrow morning at 9am. My mum is driving me up and then wants to head into Galway city centre to pass the 3 hours.

She knows how to get to Salthill from the Sligo side (V in the road, one way out to Salthill and the side goes towards the greyhound track/row of B&B's towards bus station) but she doesn't know how to get back as she thinks you can't come back the same way as you go out.

Can anyone direct her? she wants to get back from Salthill to Headford Road (small carpark €4 per day in between the two retail parks).

    Thank you.

The most direct route from Leisureland is to turn left at the Prom, go past the front of Seapoint (not along the beach). From there it's a striaght run to the hospital. Turn right at the hospital and follow the road around to woodquay.

Thanks for the reply, what's Woodquay?

The area between the courthouse/Town Hall Theatre and the retail park and shopping centres. The car park you're referring to can is at the edge of Woodquay.

Actually if you go onto google maps and use it to get the directions, it will send you that way.
