    Hi there,

Currently need to decorate our tired and dated offices. It's in an old Victorian red brick building with nice original features. It was a vicarage originally.

Up to Christmas one of the main front was used as storage as most people are upstairs. It's full of usual office crap, boxes, files, step ladders etc.

Now we need to jazz it up as we need to use it. I have attached a pic.

Because I have no imagination whatsoever,:o can anyone suggest a good colour for the walls? The beige carpets are staying and prob just a lick of 'off white' matt gloss for the woodwork. It's the walls I cannot decide on. Bearing in mind it will be used as a room for terribly serious meetings etc.

Our business doesnt have a colour scheme as such like a lot of places and would like something business like but a little warm. Rather stay away from magnolia.

    Many thanks...:)

Will you continue to have the brown steel press, brown table and red chairs?

    Hi thanks for reply.

The table will stay as it is a decent size but intend putting writing mats with blotting paper (will comfortably hold 6). There will no be much brown to see. Yes the chairs will go eventually. As you can tell it's all over the place. Somebody suggested a light moss green colour to me. What do you think?

Yes, a moss green could work well with the existing carpet/table/fireplace, and would be warmer than, say, sage. You could try uploading your photo to the Dulux MousePainter site and trying out some of their softer moss colours.
