Housing Association Interview...

Just received a letter from The Iveagh trust regarding social housing. They have said they would like to interview me.

Does anyone know what this interview will consist of?

Will it be a case of us against other people for the property?

If the interview is successful, what happens next?

    Any help would be great,

    Thanks :-)

    From the website -
    Interviews

Interviews are offered to eligible candidates for accommodation. All applicants must provide satisfactory evidence of identity and of past and current residences for themselves and all household members. The Iveagh Trust will request documentary evidence from each applicant and will conduct further enquiries as are reasonable in the circumstances. All applicants will be expected to supply evidence verifying their income and resources. They will also be required to provide 2 character references. Where considered necessary, further verification of personal information is sought. Home visits may be carried out without prior notification to check an applicant’s details. Following interview, successful applicants are advised to contact the office every 6-8 weeks to show their continuing housing need and their interest in being considered for accommodation with The Iveagh Trust.

I have read this but as far as I am aware, this is if you want to get onto their list. Their list as far as I know, is now closed.

I have been informed by DCC that The Iveagh Trust has just 3 places going, and DCC have nominated us for one of them. (not sure which one) Im wondering are we up against others for this.. if we are accepted, how long before we move in etc.

If anyone has been housed by The Iveagh Trust Id love to hear from them and how they got on.
