HTC Phone with Mic problem

    Hi,

I've HTC One M7 from vodafone purchased few months back. Suddenly got Mic on the phone stopped working. I gave the phone to Vodafone retail and they sent it to FoneFix for repair. I just checked status of repair on Fonefix website and it says:

"UNIT EXCHANGED PLEASE NOTE NEW IMEI:354436053634554
YOUR HANDSET HAS THE LATEST MANUFACTUER APPROVED SOFTWARE
UNIT HAS BEEN TESTED AND MEETS MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS"

My original phone IMEI is 354436055668105

Does this mean they changed IMEI on my phone and are they supposed to change IMEI if so or they mean they will give replacement phone?

    Thank you.

They didn't fix your phone they're just giving you a new one. All covered by your warranty.

    This too shall pass.
