Have been used LG 2X since the first launch date and it was fine until when the phone getting hot and battery life draining fast quickly. It was about only 4-6 hrs from full charge. I have been checked to see what was running but nothing weird.

Not a phone but i have had an ipod touch for 3+ years and to answer your question not good sir. Not good. Interwebbing is ok but the likes of a few youtube vids and its all but dead.

I have an old HTC and had the same issue, factory battery was shot. They have a recharge/discharge cycle limit so their efficiency will diminish with age/use. I bought an after-market high capacity battery from a company named Anker, works a treat. Whereas I was getting 4/5 hours from a charge I can now get up to 24.

Buying after market batteries for iPhone... (4s) is it any risk to the phone? You know how they overheat... We'll you know if you have one.
