Mystery mouth and throat problem

    I have had something weird going on in my mouth for over a year. It started after antibiotics for an unrelated issue.
    A coating on my tongue and a prickly like rash right at the bottom of my soft palate maybe 8 small raised spots, it was diagnosed as thrush, I was prescribed numerous treatments with no improvement. The rash on my soft palate has spread to cover the whole soft palate and I have a feeling like somethings stuck in my throat all the time its painful and my tongue stings. I have seen a specialist ent (referred after numerous gp visits)who said its not fungal he prescribed antivirals and steroids no improvement. He is referring me to an immunologist now which i am very sceptical about, i just think he doesnt know what else to do.Has anyone any experience of anything like this? Would you recommend seeing a dentist? This has taken over my life now and im becoming increasingly depressed that its getting worse and worse. Any advice is much appreciated.
