Noticed my front two tires are looking a little worse for wear. Can anyone suggest where I can buy good quality tyres at a cheap price in the City?

Decky's place up at the top of St.Patrick's rd, if coming from the Dublin Rd, take a right at the lights after Frank Hogans, continue straight up St.Patrick's hill, pass out the turn for Hilltop and Lynwood Park and take the next turn to the left which is easy to miss, it leads into a yard where Decky's place is. Sound fella and always found him the most reasonable!

Limerick Tyre Centre out in Raheen, opposite the Toyota dealership.

There is no such thing as good cheap tyres.

Budget tyres are budget tyres and all places willbe similarly priced.

Pay a bit extra for one of the most important parts of your car. For sake 30 quid extra per tyre it's a no brainer considering the difference in wear, handling, breaking distance etc.

    Thomond tyres are A1.

There is no point going for the cheapest place in town, after all it it just your tyres keeping your car on the road, go for value for your money.

I find Thomond tyres to be the best VALUE.

Do not go to Midwest tyres across from the Southcourt, they are useless, I got quoted a price for a digital wheel alignment and they charged me 15 - 20 Euros extra than quoted on the phone, after I left I phoned the branch on the dock road and they quoted me the original price I was quoted...............

pig ignorant fella in there and the wheel alignment was not correct, had to go to Advance to get it sorted some months afterwards

Thomand Tyres are the best in Limerick and most helpfull.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone...I think I have to much choice!

Yes, as one poster stated, I'm not looking for cheap good tyres, I'm looking for reasonably priced good tyres, or somewhere that is doing a deal.

There is really no such thing. I priced around aggressive recently for 8 tyres (sports Trac 5's) and there was no leeway between suppliers.
    Expensive tyres are expensive.

+1 on the thumbs up for Declan on St. Patrick's Road. :)

Stopped going to Victory Tyres after the proprietor jokingly made a racist comment to me about one of his other customers.

Sitting in victory tyres right now. They opened 20 mins early for me so I would make it to work on time.

No problems or racist jokes so far.

Slight longshot here....does anyone know if Hannover tyres are open this Saturday morning?

Need to get tyres but only have a very narrow window (9-11 on Sat) that I'm free for
