I'm looking to plant some hedging in my back garden ,to cover some panel fencing . 40ft in length and a width of about 3ft... Could anybody recommend a durable evergreen hedge ??? Was contemplating red robin hedging ??? It's located in a sunny area of garden with good soil. Any suggestions ???

Red Robin is a very attractive hedge, but quite vigorous and bulky. Would not like severe cutting. Other options include Viburnum Tinus Eve Price, Portugese Laurel (Angustifolia).
