over weekend notice ICBF calling out massive success of new maternla bulls semen uptake from farmers as 200+ farmers buying semen... although would be interested to know how many of these famrmers are outside the maternal bull program as i believe all the farmers taking part must buy semen

Anyone using the new maternal bulls are will you stay with tried & trusted and levae others 'test' the bulls. I'm staying tried and trusted bloodlines rather than gamble on these.

you have to buy the straws in advance and they'll send them out to the technician for you. They're a fiver a pop.

Going to get a few straws of ZGH myself

I wouldn't be getting too excited, he is only half a star for milk within the breed.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

the bloodline wouldn't excite me either... wait for next update and his milk could improve... as ICBF stars do change a lot
