I'm looking to plant some hedging in my back garden ,to cover some panel fencing . 40ft in length and a width of about 3ft... Could anybody recommend a durable evergreen hedge ??? Was contemplating red robin hedging ??? It's located in a sunny area of garden with good soil. Any suggestions ???

I planted illea Agnes a few years ago in similar conditions. Very strong and nice hedge- evergreen. Not sure if spelling above is correct but most garden centres will stock it.

I planted common laurel (prunus I. "Caucasica"). It'll make a think evergreen hedge with glossy green leaves, thats hardy and frost resistant.
I also like red robin, it looks great this time of year.
