Dispute Resolution Quoting

This is a question concerning the rules of the Dispute Resolution forum

    From the Notices section above.

"You may not post in a thread that is not related to you, even if you think you’re being helpful, without being invited to do so by the CMod or Admin looking after the issue at hand. This applies to all members of the site."

What is the situation with quoting directly from Archieved Dispute Resolution threads in other forums. Is this permitted?

The rule would still stand. The Archives are just ways of separating live issues from issues that have now been resolved, and is purely for ease of administration and management by those tasked with general janitorial duties.

If there is something you want to get off your chest, we have a Feedback forum which does not have any restriction on posting to pre-existing threads, or starting your own.
