Can Oscail students use the library?

I'm thinking of applying to do either a Msc in Management of Internet Enterprise Systems or Management of Information Systems Strategy starting this Autumn.

As a father to two noisy young children I was wondering if Oscail students can use the University physical library from time to time for some serious study time?

As a sidebar, is anyone else here doing /has done these courses previously and have any recommendations?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I am doing Oscail Msc in Information Systems (not management though), first year.
You will have a student card and free access to the library.
I never used it during the week as I work full time, but went there on saturdays few time to study

    Thanks jsabina really appreciate that.
How are you finding the course? , I'm also working full time and was wondering how hard going the distance learning is when you are essentially on your own.

    well,
hard to judge as I cannot compare with a traditional course.
I took 3 modules this year and I have been lucky because one of them is very easy for me (web development, I have work experience on that).

The other two modules I struggled a bit.
We have virtual tutorials where we can interact... and a forum with the tutor.
The problem is that is not really used a lot.
I would say it depends a lot from the tutor you have, so you need a bit of luck.

I like the idea of the assignments that force you to study during the year and count on the final marks.
I have the exams in 2 weeks and I am going there with a quite good result on the assignments, so it helps a lot to to make me feel a bit more confident.

The best thing is trying to interact with the other students and work together during the year (on skype / email / chat).. it really helps a lot.

To conclude I cannot say that I am really satisfied about the course, but it's the only one that I found with distance learning and some lessons on saturday. I won't be able to attend 3 times a week.

If you have any other question let me know!

Hi, thanks very much for the details, its really helpful.
You mentioned that you are not doing one of the management courses, are there other courses not on the website?
