Looking to book cheap Ryanair flights somewhere for a weekend. The arrival airport options for the weekend of choice are now Reus, Seville or Majorca in Spain, Rodez in France or Pisa in Italy.

Any insight from anyone who has chosen any of these flights would be much appreciated. Car hire is an option if there is a nicer destination closer to any of the airports. We will have 2 or 3 days depending on the destination.

    What time of year?
What do you like doing when away - museums, beach, fine dining, sightseeing?
Do all the destinations involve an early morning departure from Ireland and an early morning departure home?

It will be early May. Flights are either an early morning orlate Saturday evening departure and late return on Tuesday.

We are looking for somewhere that will be warm with littlechance of rain. Not all that interested in being inside a lot so not thatpushed on museums. We do like the beach but somewhere with an outdoor poolwould be just as good.

We’re really just looking for somewhere to relax for a fewdays, whether that is by the sea or involves wandering around seeing sights orscenery doesn’t matter to us.

I suppose what I was hoping for was an insight from someonewho had been to any of the destinations and a run down on what activities theyhad partaken in while there.

having flown into pisa and reus with ryanair i can only give my opinion of those two. both airports are ideally situated and no requirement of long bus trips to reach either area.

reus is great if you want to have a beach holiday and there are plenty of resort like hotels in town offering fully inclusive packages. its also only an hour or so from barcelona by train if you so choose and there is a big theme park just a short drive from the airport.

pisa there isn't alot to see and do outside the leaning tower. you can easily walk to the town center from the airport in a few minutes. the advantage of pisa is that its in close proximity of florence and easily accessible by train.

Scrap all them and go to Biarritz, you will get nowhere more relaxed than Biarritz. Some of the best and longest beaches in Europe there

Biarritz is on the to do list, bit on the pricey side this close to departure unfortunately.

Went for Reus. Have the option of hitting Portavetura, paying a vsit to Barcelona or just chilling on the beach so it suits perfectly no matter what the mood is.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
