Meteor 'Unlimited broadband' with USB modem

Currently paying 20 a month for mobile broadband with 7.5 GB allowance from meteor. They have that new 'Unlimited' mobile offer with 7.5 GB for €10 on phones. Could I get this offer for €10 then take the sim out of my phone and put it into a usb modem?

I have a meteor modem. Would it be possible with that or what I have to get one that isn't locked to any particular network?

If you have an android phone, you could plug the phone into the computer and tether the connection. I've done this before, though not for such large amounts of data, I can't see you running into any trouble though.
