Kid Galahad looking very impressive on channel 5 at the moment but opponent isn't the best. Solis lost a split decision against Thompson in a snoozefest. Waste of talent.

Solis is just soooooooo lazy. That fight was like a slow-motion sparring session.

I have to say Kid Galahad is getting more impressive with each outing. I wasn't mad on him in the beginning, but at this rate he could be a potential threat to Frampton in a year's time.

After 3 rds I switched off the Solis fight fearing it could remain at that brutally pedestrian pace. Seems I was right.

Frankie Gavin really has his hands full here. He's already been down in the 2nd, though not hurt. The Namibian is strong, fit and is throwing some excellent body punches.

Gavin wins well in the second half but I just don't know, I've never thought he's quite as good as you'd expect from such a quality amateur. Not convinced he's gonna go as far as most others think.

Not at all sold on Gavin. Very little power. Typical run of the mill pro southpaw.

I think there was a thread here a couple of years ago, when he first started pro, and i think if i recall correct your opinion was the same. Must search for it.

I would think so. I have been know to both change my mind and to admit that I was wrong. I recently found some scathing posts of mine referring to Mike Tyson, a fighter at prime that I rate as top 3 HW ever.
