Im new to this form so mods feel free to tell me where ive gone wrong.
    graphics card upgrade.
Ive gotten myself an old'ish pc and the only part i need to get to use it for gaming (and nothing else) is a graphics card the pc currently has a intel pentium d 3.2GHz cpu 2 gig of ram and no operating system as of yet.
could someone recommend me a graphics card? my budget is 60 euro for now and the card only has to last to the end of the year then i can replace it.
the only games i wish to play will be Arma 2,3 WoT and war thunder if you need any more specs please ask.

TBh your hole PC is really bad so don't know will even a 7750 cut it. Pc is nearly 10 years old now. A new ok gaming rig will cost about 400

I dont believe the pc could be that bad.
the pc was made to spec and two of my mates also run these pc's(there old work pc's so they made a few of them) currently on windows 8.1 64 bit and run war thunder and world of tanks without any issue do i dont really see how it could be as bad as you say?
they have put new graphics cards in their system and they are ready to go.

Can you post the exact model of your processor? It might be ok with browser games but anything like Battlefield 4 or far cry 3 not a hope.

Not a hope the PC is too old. Its 10 years old.

    minimun for Arma 3

    Your processor

Thats going on the minimun specs which is basically the minimun for the game to run really really slow or just the game to be running at all tbh.

The PC is too old, cant be upgraded. worth 20 euro tbh. Windows 8 will run on it.

Even a 40 euro processor runs at 2500 on the benchmark site which shows how bad urs is!! 4 times as strong!

ok so arma 3 is a little out of my reach for now but i can still get some use out of this pc i got it for nothing so i might aswell get something from it.atleast WoT war thunder i know it will run thoes pretty well.i only want to get a few months out of this unit anyway and then ill get something worthwile but untill then could you just point me in the right direction for a graphics card?

There's very little point putting a graphics card in that pc. Putting aside the processor, which will balk at any modern game engine, 2gb of ddr 2 (if ur lucky) isn't going to get you very far.

For €60-70 you can probably find an r7 250 or failing that an r7 240 for €50-60, but you'll be so cpu limited you'll be lucky if you pull 15fps in any modern game.

Save up €250+ and build a cheap pc. A modern day Celeron will run rings around the 130w heat lamp sitting in your case.

Agree with the above post, no point whatsoever. You will need a new power supply as well I would imagine

Ok thanks for the help and the pc does indeed run ddr2.Again i must point out that this whole unit including moniter was for nothing and i only want it to last me a few months nothing too intensive for now i wont be using it much and when im done with it i might still get some use out of the shell and hard drive for an upgrade.
