Cycling Training question

Just want to know what do experienced and triaining cyclists do to get back to where they are when they are off the bike for a while. I average 350 km a week cycling but in 2months I will be going travelling and I will be off my bike for 3 months and 0km will be done in those three months. I assume i wont have any fitness when i come back?

I will start winter training when i come back as I want to do well in A4 racing next year provided i dont be an A3 before it which wont happen. Question is how long will it take my fitness to return again? Depresses me thinking what I will have to do to get back to where I am at present. Where does it start besides getting back on the road?

    Thanks

Winter training is always hard even if you start with a strong base. Starting fresh will mean that you will be strong at the start of the season and will have a head start on others.
You ass will hurt again for the first few days. Plenty of turbo when you get back and you'll fly it.
Off bike, keep supple, yoga or whatever floats your boat.. Activities like pilates are great for core and squats etc are all free in your bedroom floor and will make a difference. If planned and used you will be fine, good luck, I wish I had the same problem.....!

Maybe do some running and also core work while your away travelling. Need nothing for any of that apart from a pair of runners. For when you come back well there is damn all else you can do except get back on the bike and hit the road in some form of structured way.

Enjoy your 3 months off. As much as I enjoy the bike there is more to life.

There is a lot of guys getting by with very intense short duration exercise. Do a bit of research on that.

Enjoy your time away, try new activities and meet a few girls....
