Gap in Two Front Teeth

    Hi,

I recently have thought about removing the gap in my two top front teeth. At the top of the gap, it measures roughly 2mm, and bottom measures roughly 4mm. So you can see it's kind of slanted. It can be annoying eating and stuff. I've tried bands the last couple of days, didn't make much of a different, and my teeth began to hurt, so I stopped today. Is there any way of getting rid of this gap without costly braces? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Aaron.

one thing you should factor in when mentioning costly braces, is any prosthetic work has a finite life span, and would have to be replaced over time, so the costs could add up.
without seeing you, the one thing about a gap that wide, is that you would probably need to have work done to more than just the 2 front teeth to get a good result. otherwise you could end up with 2 front teeth that look ridiculously wide. i'd consider braces first, especially if your teeth are in good nick. you'd need to go see a general dentist first to decide where to refer you though.

Thanks for your quick response. Would you think I'd need braces on just a specific area of me teeth, or the whole lot?
