Anyone any ideas what would cause this?? Mechanic is baffled. Only the front passenger wheel is the problem sittin close to an inch out past arch. Lowered on coilovers but that shouldn't make much difference. Subframe and wishbones etc look spot on

Check for a spacer fitted, check the wheel offset is the same as the other side.... but most of all get a new mechanic!

No spacer fitted! Offset of wheel is somet we never thought of actually! It could explain a lot not a cheap fix of it's that! Can't get rid of mechanic he's related he's good at his job but most importantly he's free!!

If nothing is wrong mechanically then it has to be an offset problem, which he definitely should have copped.

Are the coilovers adjustable? Might be that the adjustment is not the same on both sides? It might sound like a silly question, but are the coilovers a matched pair?

No such thing as a silly question!! Coilovers are adjustable and a matched pair! Gonna try get dimensions off another same car from brake disc to brake disc to compare. The lads could be right about offset as it got a small tip on passenger side with previous owner who must ave touch of Alzheimer's which mite have killed the alloy and wrong offset replacement fitted!! Fingers crossed that's what it is anyway
