    Anyone have info on this race? May 31st/ June 1st in the CI calendar, anyone know what categories and stages at it? Seems to be its first year?

    met a blarney cc rider at the sha3 and asked him about it. There are two races, a crit and a longer stage, c100km.. I'm not sure it's a 2 day as such, more that there are 2 races on, one on the saturday, one on the sunday.. story so far...

    I'm trying not to get my hopes up.....but....is that an 85km A4 race? It would be brilliant if that's part of the 2-day.

    @surripere
    Your link is not actually a 2-day race but can we presume that this is the format? Just a crit stage and a single road stage? I would have expected the normal setup ie 2 road stages and a TT.
    Thanks

    afaik the max distance for an A4 race is 80k.

    I'm not affiliated to the club btw, so don't take my word for it. But this does look like the event, that being separate races over two days rather than a stage race. Maybe they will neutralise to get under the 80km mark?

    I did Ras an Ossary and it was 50.75km. Plus a 1km ish roll-out. That is pawltry! My lungs were only opening when the sprinters galloped over the line!!

    You just weren't going fast enough :p This one is my kinda race, as is the one at Castlecomer. Can't believe there both on the same day :(

    I hope it's a 2 day race rather than 2 separate ones!
    I see Barrow GP was cancelled too through lack of volunteers :-(

    You could do the Sam and Betty in Gorey on Sat and Castlcomer on Sun. I MIGHT actually do that myself if I'm up home. What are the courses like for those...anyone?

    Its a crit race on the sat and a diff race sunday,2 separate races,Sunday is handicapped between the 1,2 and 3's and separate a4 race over same distance and route......last year few a3 lads rode strong all day up and overs,we stayed away until the last 2 km,Micheal Crowley won it last year snook away in last km,was very happy for him too cause its a memorial race after his uncle Donal.
    Its a great little tough route that the 3's if working well together could stay away.
