Grip shift gears seized ???

    Hi my Daughter's mountain bike has come out of the shed and the grip shift gears are stuck in the same position and I cant figure out how to fix them so they turn freely to change the gears ...

    Any advice welcome :)

    Lashings of 3-in-1 oil. If the frame has cable stops with exposed runs of cable inner, you should be able to move the cable outers to get oil onto all parts of the cable inner. Try moving the rear mech in by hand to the lowest gear and move the gripshift all the way forward (highest gear). That'll give you enough slack in the cable to pull the outers away from the cable stops...
