Chain squeal

My chain has started to squeal in the last few weeks. Bike has done about 4k in the last 2 years.

The bike has been serviced about a year ago and I regularly lube and clean down the chain, but it still squeals when I spin the pedals.

    Any thoughts, new chain needed?

    cheers

Get a chain tool and it will tell you how worn it is. Sounds like you will need a new chain (and probably a cassette too).

How do you know its the chain? a squeal (Squeak) while pedaling could be the RD jockey wheels or pedals etc.

I'd say the chain is the least likely part to cause a squeak (if its been lubed regularly)
