Hi,I'm having difficulty attaching the tank of my sprayer to the back of my quad. I have 2 ratchet straps but when I get on bumpy ground it just falls off.

Anyone any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks

Are you tightening the ratchet straps tight enough or how exactly is the tank falling off?

I'm tightening them as best I can, though I'm no expert:). By falling off I mean when I'm turning, or going over bumps or hills it slips to the side and I have to get off and push it back before it goes over completely. As I have lots of bumps and hills this is quite time consuming :)

I've seen a neighbor use 2 pieces of timber to help balance the tank but I thought that would just make it more unstable.

I put a rubber mat or something non slip under it... Stops it from sliding.

I've no experience with quads but could you put a heavy rubber mat under it to take some of the bounce and give it a bit better grip ? Or even get a frame made up to hold it in place on the quad , it shouldn't be a dear job and might work out cheaper than replacing the tank if it falls off and bursts

A third ratchet strap 90 degrees to the 2 others should do it.

I put a piece of carpet on first as not to scrape the quad but it cannot move when tightened. Your deffo doing something wrong. I lay over my last quad with full tank and it still never moved an inch.

make a timeber base for it,

you should only need one good ratchet strap.

timber base, tank, and good strap around the lot.

Is there brakets for it? Can u make base with an upright at each corner and drop the sprayer into it?
