There are kids handprints all over our car. They look like succee me but must be paint or something. I've tried gently using various cleaners and nail Polish remover but no joy. Any other suggestions on what I could use that won't damage the original car body work?

It could be sun cream; which is a nightmare. If unsure leave it to the pro's, nail polish remover could strip clearcoat and paint.

It's on a few weeks so doubt it's suncream as the weather was crap. I was very very gentle was nail polish remover... Dabbed it on with an earbud to test first.

Rubbing compound from the auto factors apply on with a wet/damp cloth to affected area handprints are a nightmare to get of

Try some WD-40. It has removed different things for me before.

Use rubbing compound, nothing else. It is a clear coat safe. I'd recommend Meguiars Ultimate Compound. After rubbing the prints off, seal the body work with a regular car wax.
