what age is the child :)

we have one we got in mothercare we used it from age 10 months to 3 years currently this is the one we got http://www.amazon.co.uk/Littlelife-L10530-Cross-Country-Carrier/dp/B001TJEDQS/ref=sr_1_6?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1398519336&sr=1-6

I notice they do not have any in stock at present but found that one on Amazon but I would highly recommend it we got it for our daughter 4 years ago and are still using it now its still in great condition and has a sun shade as well.

we also have a soft structured carrier for our baby he 8 months now but I have carried out 3 year old on my back with it as well it is not this make but here is an example http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ergo-Baby-Original-Carrier-Black/dp/B001JZU8O8/ref=sr_1_9?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1398519336&sr=1-9

just did a quick google and found these never seen this site before though http://sale.donkiz-ie.com/sales/baby_carrier_hiking.htm

I have the Ergo Baby Carrier and love it. The child faces you, which is reassuring for the child (and it keeps your chest warm). When they want to see something they do have to strain themselves a bit, but that is not a big deal.

We used it from birth to about 2 years, though I saw a video of a small adult being carried in one.

    I really liked it.

I used a Bush Baby for years with two kids (one after the other), earlier version of the one below.
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Flatpack-Carrier-Backpack-Canopy-Raincover/dp/B00626I2JC/

They have proper rucksack back systems and can adjust to your back length easily. You bear the main weight on the belt and the shoulder straps just keep things stable.

The design is well thought out, with some pockets accessible without taking the pack off. It just works to be honest, I often walked with people with some other brand packs and they tended to get uncomfortable after a relatively short while, mostly due to the straps carrying most of the weight on the shoulders combined with junior bopping about shifting the weight (not a normal rucksack problem!)
My pack is still doing the rounds and being passed from person to person nearly 9 years on.
