singles holidays for single travellers

Hey Everyone

Following on from my query in another thread about a trip/holiday for single's or people who have none to go on holidays with for whatever reason. I received a delightful PM from another keen user who is also a like minded person like myself who would be interested in a holiday with other Boards members who are in the same situation. Anyone out their interested in a holiday away with a potential gang of people going away anywhere open to suggestions??

I'm the delightful boards user who is up also for a trip away with random people!! I would suggest somewhere that's warm and caters for people who want to go out at night but also may want to so touristy stuff too...I'm open to idea also for August

I would definitely be interested in going on holidays with a group. I am interested also in peoples experiences of same.. for example is it a bit risky to meet up at the airport with a group of people you might have precious little in common with and maybe be stuck with them for the next week :-) also how would you agree on a location/date etc.

Personally my holiday plan is looking like Costa Del Sol in Mid June for about a week.... if anybody else is interested in that .. then I'm all ears.

I might be going somewhere later in the Summer as well .. but that is unplanned at this stage.

Hi have you had any luck with the holiday planning? All my friends are either married-up or have emigrated (and to places too expensive to visit ) and I need a holiday badly! I would be looking at August too..

We haven't planned anything yet or set a location but I'm still up for it anyway

Hi, I'm looking to go on solo holiday but finding impossible to get cheap as solo. Anyone out there who would like to share travel expensive and/or room (female). I'm 45, female and just want to go somewhere hot and relax during June.

Hi Phil,

If you want to go somewhere warm in June ... then you better hope the weather in Ireland is good!! .. cause you are probably already too late to get anything cheap abroad. Maybe try the travel agents for last minute deals to places that they could not sell. (This has inherent risks too...eg. there might be a good reason why the destination didn't sell... and you will probably be paying a single persons supplement if you book through a Travel Agent)

I am going to Costa Del Sol late next week and the week after and will have extra accommodation so might be able to hook you up for a few days, (free), if that's any help? .. I'll PM you.... flights to Malaga are now expensive though :-(
