Long time between interviews?

My husband had a telephone interview with a factory at beginning of February, a week later he had an aptitude test, at the end of march they phoned him to ask him to come in for an interview which he did.
He was told it was just 12 weeks summer work and was that ok with him, he said it was.
    He hasn't heard anything since.
With the way they have been leaving a good few weeks between interviews should he wait and see and give it another few weeks or can we take it that he didn't get the job?

It's been very long between each stage and he's jumping every time the phone rings now!

That's one of the main things that really pi$$es me off about job hunting.

I'd get back on to them, what's to lose?

I applied for a job at Supavalu never heard another thing so I tore them a new one on their Facebook page - company's hate that, personnel manager phoned me to say sorry but I was over qualified (whatever that means) and the letter must have got lost in the post - yeah right

    I wish your husband well.
