Looking for a ladies daily wear watch and have been looking at Tissot. Have spotted some in a local jewellers that they are selling at half price, but there is just a couple of small things about them leading me to think they might not be the real mccoy.

Is there any way of checking if they are or not.

Have looked at the Tissot site and can't get an exact match but can see something similar.

I would have thought it would be unlikely that a bricks & mortar jeweller would be selling fake Tissots. Are they second hand? They are probably new old stock which is why you can't find them on the website (i.e. they're discontinued).
Maybe you could find out the name of the model /serial number and we could help you out a bit then? It seems reasonable enough to be offering a discontinued product at half price in a sale though.
