picture too big

i have a sky set up ,something happened and now the picture seems like its too big for the screen so much so i can only see part of the menu bar. i have found the zoom control for the tv and it makes no difference i have also plugged everything out and left it still the same,anybody any ideas at all. thanks frustrated

screen aspect ratio is probably set to zoom instead of 16:9.

On the tv remote look for an icon with 2 bidirectional arrows (sometimes within a square), Sometimes it will just say aspect and sometimes its the blue button.

Press that to scroll through the options to find the correct aspect ratio.

No bother, its sorted then.

na still in bother,the only button that seems related is marked 'screen' i set that to 16:9 still the same,ready to hack it off the wall with a spade

Is this Sky box connected with scart or RF connection, not HDMI?

Maybe you should check the Sky box picture settings, accessed via services menu?

hdmi, i think i have the box set to 16:6 too ,although i can't see the full menu because the picture is too big.i think it's time to hit the drink
