    Hi all.

Ive heard, that it's good to play music to milking cows and that it helps the produce more milk etc.

So does anyone here play the music or radio to dairy milking cows, if so what music..

    Thanks.

It differs a lot depending on cow type. Holsteins on one hand would have a total different taste in music to jerseys for example.

Like the radio or a certain genres of music??

Have you ever noticed any one song that the cows would kick off the milking apparatus when it would come on??

My neighbors cows would kick off the milking apparatus when the death notices would come on in the morning.. they hated that.

Have few ideas for songs they night like

'The green green grass of home' by Tom Jones
    'Black cow' by Steely Dan
    'Poor cow' by Donovan
'I am cow' by The arrogant worms

'Cows with guns' might not be suitable

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.

After trialing all sorts of music, I'm back to serenading the cows myself. Worth two kgs of meal I reckon.

Back in the days of the old west cowboys on cattle drives used to sing to the cattle at night to keep them calm.
