Vodafone Smart Mini 4 WARNING

Bought said phone today at 16.55 from Vodafone Stillorgan. Got home and started playing with it, low battery warning came up, so took out the charger and stuck it on charge. Came back into the office 10 or so minutes to the smell of burning, the screen on the phone has heated to temperature excess of 40 degrees, the IR baby monitor only goes that high, and the back of the phone is at a temperature higher than the screen, you would not hold your hand on the phone.

TAKE GREAT CARE IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE, DO NOT LEAVE IT ON CHARGE UNSUPERVISED

Now I have to trek back into Stillorgan from Wicklow to be told the phone has to be sent off etc not be told whats happening or when its back and have to chase up the case myself. Nor hear WHY the phone is heating up to such temperature that could have in all honesty catastrophic consequences.
