Harman Kardon AVR 171... BCO update

    Hi,
    I bought the above on 4th Dec 2013.  I only completed my cinema set-up in Feb this year .  The AVR 171 is constantly locking up/freezing and displaying "BCO update Please wait...."
    No matter how long I wait it remains frozen.  The only solution I found online was to reset the device by holding the surround mode button for 5 seconds.


    Please advise, it is very frustrating to have to reset the device each time I use it.

    Apologies that you are having issue with the AVR171.

    If you could return the unit to us we can get in fixed or replaced for you depending on the issue.

    Please make sure the unit is package correctly for shipping so it does not get damaged in transit.

    Do you still have the original packaging?
