Do you think you could text someone for 4 years without meeting?

Anybody ever see that programme 'Catfish'?
Have yet ever been in a position where you've been texting someone for a very long time and have never met them?

    Mmm fish.

Yes I could. I don't see why not. It's probably the way the future is heading with technology

A woman I know was texting a guy for about 2 years (he lived in a different country) and when they eventually managed to meet up it was unbelievably awkward. I think since texting had been their only form of communication for so long, once they were face to face they didn't know how to act around one another.

No. It's ridiculous. There's no excuse for not meeting once over a four year period. Unless you're not an adult/about to become one.

If you're hanging on to that person in the hope you'll end up with them after four years of texting while not giving others in your life/that could be in your life a chance then there's something wrong.

Yeah, sure, why not. Just 'cos you've gone from FB chat or e-mail to SMS doesn't mean you've got serious. :D
