Timing belt record from main dealer

Seperate from another timing belt thread Ive posted to,

I sold a car to a relative, I had the timing belt done in the last few years during my ownership and got a receipt for it from the main dealer, the relative believed me and I meant to dig the receipt out for their record but never got around to it, I probably still have the receipt somewhere, but finding it is another thing.

The relative wants to sell the car now and I will try find the receipt for them which shows the timing belt was done and on the car reg, if I cant locate it, is it likely the dealer will provide me with something to say it was done? Its done less mileage since I sold it but it still hasn't exceeded its time interval either but been a few years.

The dealer should have it on record and should be able to issue some sort of proof if you call in to them.
