USD account for credit card transactions

    I spend about USD$300-500/month in 5-10 transactions, I'm wondering would a USD account pay for itself in currency conversion and fees, or should I just plod on with what I have (AIB biz Visa). I have the same problem with GBP, but that's more variable. Mostly Amazon there.

    It probably wouldn't pay for itself ..

    If the payments are via credit card you might want to look into getting a USD American Express. I've been using one for the last year or so and it saves me quite a bit on foreign exchange. When I need to top it up or make payment I use https://www.currencyfair.com/ who are quite a bit cheaper than the banks
