    Hi,
I've been putting light oil based stuff/protector on my decking for a a few years now, but it gets dirty very easily as there are lots of trees around us and always is needing a powerwash.

i now want to go dark, can anyone recommend a product or colour for me, oil or stain it ?

    thanks

Mix some brown pigment into the oil before you apply it.
You could always use some diesel engine oil, its fairly dark and will put a dark colour into the deck.

Oil. Dark oak perhaps. Staining will be too high maintenance. Flaking after a few yrs and will look crap. Decking in General is high maintenance though!

Cuprinol have a good few options. I put Black Ash on mine last year and came out well, especially as the decking has seen better days.

What's the most durable thing to put on decking?
