Self catering holiday family 2ad 2 children in Ireland

Hi there ,

I am looking for some suggestions for a self catering holiday rental for a week or possibly two. Our children are 3 years old and 10 months old. Ideally we would like somewhere on the grounds of a hotel with leisure facilities as this is what we have done in the past and it has worked out great. Just looking for somewhere coastal as we love walking on the beach.
If any of you have any experience or suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

Try lough Allen just outside of Drumshambo in Co Leitrim. Friends from Dublin did it last summer with the kids and loved it. They rented on of the houses beside the hotel and could use the pool etc. Lots to do in the area so was a win win.

Try The Quality Hotel in Clonakilty. Have stayed there a few times they have apartments and holiday homes. Also if they work out too expensive try clonamarketing.ie or wch.ie they rent out some houses that are on the grounds of the Quality. Theres also a cinema onsite and your less than 10min drive to the beach.

The Quality Hotel in Redbarn Youghal is also worth considering. It is right on the beach and has great facilities for little people, including a swimming pool.

check out the Gold Coast in Waterford.... houses on a golf course on the grounds of the hotel.... my in laws swear by it...Try Trabolgan... heard its pretty good especially for kids...
