Stuffed wild animals/birds is okay with me but family pets...ugh! The next logical progression is to have family members dealt with in the same way - they could double as hallstands, benches etc.

Stuffed animals, wild or domestic, wouldn't be my thing. Creepy.

Reminds me of the old joke where a lady takes her two beloved Jack Russells into a taxidermist after they had died.

    'Would you like them mounted?'

'Er, no. Could you just have them looking affectionately at each other instead?'

Logically stuffed dogs shouldn't really be different from other stuffed animals, but the idea just seems creepy.
